Diamond Staffing Agency (DSA) Privacy Management Program is governed by the PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) whereby information handling practices and applicable professional standards and provincial law are practiced. PIPEDA is a Canadian law relating to data privacy. It governs how private sector organizations collect, use, and disclose personal information in the course of doing business.

Diamond Staffing Agency (DSA) is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and protection of personal information in its possession.
DSA abides by the rules and follows the Personal/Health Information Privacy Commitment.
As our valued client, we will protect your personal information by us adhering to the following principles:
• We identify the purpose for the collection of information and we will safeguard, according to the strict standards of security and confidentiality, any information that you share with us.- • All provided delicate information such as credit card payment data is processed directly through a Highly Encrypted and Secured processing method using Stripe and is not stored in DSA’s system.
What information do we collect from you?
DSA will require your consent for the collection use and disclosure of information and will only permit unauthorized individuals to have access to client information. This applies to electronically based information, paper or hard copy.
All DSA employees are professionally screened out with thorough privacy education on a regular basis for confidentiality and privacy commitment upon employment. Employees who are in violation of this Privacy Commitment will be subject to our performance management process of discipline including termination.
DSA will seek your consent when necessary to disclose personal information outside of the multidisciplinary team.
We do not share your information with any external organization unless we are required by law to do so.
DSA will occasionally review to update your personal information to ensure the accuracy of your information.
DSA activates accounts of those who are legally eligible to work in Canada.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
All updates and changes in our privacy policy are subject to appropriate notification and will be posted on this page.
How long we retain your information
DSA stores your private and personal information strictly confidential.
At DSA, we will continue to have access to your information for up to 10 years or longer (if required by provincial regulation). These records are safeguarded and are stored securely with protected passwords and computer firewalls and limited user access authorized levels, in paper/hard copies with limited staff access by those who are authorized.
DSA website restricts any unauthorized links and assumes no responsibility for those organizations, advertisements or unauthorized connections.
Request to view your own information may be available when approved in writing by our Privacy Officer.
Some requests for access to information may be subject to limitations or refusal such as the reason for the refusal could be the proprietary nature of the information requested, the information may infringe on the privacy of another individual; the law prohibits its release; and/or if we exercise our discretion to withhold or limit the information because we believe harm may result from the disclosure.
In the event that refused-to-release information is issued, a special notification of the refusal reason will be sent to you with guidelines on the available options or recourses.
DSA has appointed a Privacy Officer to oversee, monitor, and report all client privacy issues and concerns.
What we don’t do with your data
We will never share, unveil, sell, or in any case give your information to different organizations for the promotion of their items or administrations. We will limit the collection, use, and disclosure of client information to its relevance to ensure safe and efficient client-focused services with your consent which gives us permission to provide our services to you.
